Shipping and Returns Policies


Shipping Policy
BuyAceHardware.com carries thousands of products. Some we stock in-house and some are stored in our warehouses. Items that are in-house are shipped 1-2 business days after the order is received. Items from the warehouse (and ordered before 10 a.m. mountain time on Wednesdays) are shipped the next Thursday or Friday. To find out if your product is in house or in the warehouse, please feel free to call 877-783-5191, ext. 227 or e-mail info@BuyAceHardware.com.

Orders of in-house items that are placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on the following Tuesday. If you place an order on a day preceding one of the following holidays, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, your order will be shipped 1-2 business days following the holiday. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order, and one once your order has been shipped.

BuyAceHardware.com ships via UPS and the United States Postal Service.

Full shipping costs, based on zip code, are listed during check-out.

UPS Next Day Air Service is not automatically available. We have found that almost all of our customers prefer to use UPS Ground or UPS 3-day service. The costs associated with UPS Next Day Air Service are often greater than the price of the product being shipped, and therefore, our customers rarely used this service and we discontinued it. However, we can arrange for you product to be shipped UPS Next Day Air. Please contact us to make arrangements for this service.

USPS packages are automatically shipped Parcel Post unless under the USPS 13 oz guidelines, where we will then upgrade you to First Class delivery. First class has been found to be just as fast as Priority when shipped from city to city. Rural areas do tend to take a little longer.

Free Shipping
Free shipping applies to all orders over $149 within the continental United States. You can expect this to be UPS Ground shipping which will take up to a week for delivery. If your order qualifies for free shipping, choose the "Free Shipping for orders over $149" method during step 2 of check-out.

If your product qualifies for free shipping, but you choose to have it shipped USPS or UPS 3 Day Select, then you are opting out of the free shipping feature. It only qualifies with UPS Ground.

If you return a product you received via free shipping for any reason (other than our mistake or because it's defective), you are responsible for the original shipping costs as well as the return shipping costs.

Returns Policy
Return Policy for New, Unopened, Unused Products Customer satisfaction is a priority at BuyAceHardware.com. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we will gladly issue a refund within 30 days from the purchase date. Items must be new; unused and in original, complete packaging. Refunds will be for the cost of the item, minus a 10% restocking fee. The original shipping charge will not be refunded. The cost of shipping the item back to us is the responsibility of the customer.

To get a refund started, please e-mail info@BuyAceHardware.com for a return authorization number and return instructions. The return authorization number is required. Please follow the return instructions in the e-mail for prompt service. Please allow four weeks for the refund to be completed. This includes shipping and processing time.

Exchange Policy for Wrong Item Shipped

If BuyAceHardware.com accidentally sends you the wrong item, we will exchange the item free of charge, including all shipping costs associated with the return. Please e-mail info@BuyAceHardware.com for an exchange authorization number and shipping information. All items must be in new condition and you must notify us of this mistake within 14 days of receiving product.

Damaged Items Please inspect your package upon delivery. If it is damaged in any way, please e-mail us at info@BuyAceHardware.com within 5 days of receipt. BuyAceHardware.com will initiate a claim with the shipping company. BuyAceHardware.com will replace the item at no charge to you including free shipping.

Product Failure All warranty claims must be filed with the manufacture of the product. All products sold by BuyAceHardware.com come with a manufacturer’s warranty. To make sure your product is protected by the warranty, you must complete the warranty information documents contained in the packaging and return these documents to the appropriate address. If no warranty information is contained within the packaging, make sure you record the manufacturer’s warranty service center information displayed on the packaging. BuyAceHardware.com does not provide any warranty, either express or implied, beyond the warranty of the manufacturer of the product.
